This dessert is almost too easy to make, and so good on a spring day! I like to use half frozen blueberries, half fresh and then a whole pint of fresh raspberries for a nice bit of tartness. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and everyone will be happy!
Here's what you'll need!
Ingredients
2 cups Frozen Blueberries
1/2 Pint Fresh Blueberries
1 Pint Fresh Raspberries
1/2 Cup White Sugar
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Stick of Butter
2 Cups of Oats
1/2 Lemon
1 tsp Cornstarch
Vanilla Ice Cream for Serving
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375
Dump frozen berries, blueberries and raspberries into a casserole dish
Add 1/4 cup of white sugar, juice of half a lemon, and 1tsp of corn starch
Mix and set aside
In a bowl combine oats, the rest of the white sugar, 1/2 cup of brown sugar and combine
Cut 1/2 stick of butter into pieces and mix into oat mixture until crumbly
Pour oat mixture onto berries and spread evenly
Add some cut up butter on top
Place in oven for 25-30 minutes
Remove from oven and let sit for 5-10 minutes
Serve with vanilla ice cream and Enjoy!
